Dobbiaco–Cortina Cycle Path: the great Dolomites railway trail
3 h 30↑ 200 m30 km
Panoramic tours, high plateaus and bike parks. Mountain bike and e-bike routes across the Dolomite valleys.
Riding here means picking your day. There are valley cycle paths the whole family can manage, panoramic tours over the high plateaus, and technical single tracks in the bike parks. E-bikes changed things. The big loops between the passes and the climbs up to the huts are now within reach for far more people. We've sorted the routes by how hard you'll work.
Two stand out. The tour of the Pralongià plateau in Alta Badia is a favourite, and the Dobbiaco–Cortina cycle path follows an old railway line through some of the best scenery in the range. For each route we list the length, the elevation gain and the surface, so you'll know if it suits a muscle bike, an e-bike or a family with kids.
