A Saturday with the Campolongo, Falzarego and Valparola passes closed to cars from 9:00 to 15:00: a 51 km loop reserved for bikes. It is free and needs no registration.
The Dolomites Bike Day, which many in Italy also call the Dolomiti Bike Day, is the day when three Dolomite passes stay closed to motor traffic and the roads belong to people on bikes. The passes are Campolongo, Falzarego and Valparola; the roads are the ones linking Alta Badia, Livinallongo and the Ampezzo valley.
The tenth edition is Saturday 19 June 2027. The roads are closed from 9:00 to 15:00 and in those six hours you ride a loop of 51 kilometres. You can start from Corvara, San Cassiano, La Villa, Arabba, Pieve di Livinallongo or Cernadoi: there is no single start and no start time, everyone joins the loop wherever it suits them.
It is not a race: no number, no results, no entry fee. Road bikes, gravel bikes, mountain bikes and e-bikes are all fine. Two things to keep in mind: these are the same roads as the Maratona dles Dolomites, so real climbs, and at 15:00 the cars come back.

Good to know
- Admission: Free. There is no fee and no registration: you turn up and ride.
- When: Saturday 19 June 2027. The Campolongo, Falzarego and Valparola passes are closed to motor traffic from 9:00 to 15:00.
- Where to join: Corvara, San Cassiano, La Villa, Arabba, Pieve di Livinallongo, Cernadoi. There is no single start and no start time.
- Cost: nothing. The event is free and there is no registration.
- The hardest stretch is the last hundred metres of the Valparola, at a gradient of 12 to 15 per cent according to the organisers. The Falzarego is a 13 km climb with 16 hairpins.
- At 15:00 the roads reopen to cars: plan the way back, because 51 km over three passes does not take half an hour.
- Do not confuse it with the Sellaronda Bike Day, which closes the four Sella passes: different passes, different day. The Maratona dles Dolomites calendar puts the Sellaronda Bike Day on 5 June 2027.
- The organisers do not publish the total elevation gain of the loop, nor parking or shuttles: for those, ask the Alta Badia or Arabba tourist offices.
