The festival devoted to Gustav Mahler in Dobbiaco, where the composer spent his summers: symphonic and chamber concerts in the heart of the Dolomites.

Every summer Dobbiaco, in Val Pusteria, celebrates Gustav Mahler in the places where the composer spent the warm months and worked on his symphonies. The Gustav Mahler Music Weeks bring orchestras, soloists and chamber groups to the Grand Hotel Cultural Centre and other local venues.

The 2026 programme runs from 11 July to 5 September. Alongside the concerts there are lectures, an international symposium and special moments such as the walk to the composer's studio-hut with live music.

Concerts are ticketed and it is worth booking seats in advance, as some evenings sell out. The exact dates and ticket prices should be checked on the official website.
