Three days devoted to Puzzone di Moena DOP across Moena, Soraga and Predazzo: markets, tastings and the return of the cows from the pastures.
The Festival del Puzzone di Moena DOP celebrates the cheese that symbolises the valley, with its strong, recognisable smell. The festival involves Moena, Soraga and Predazzo and brings Val di Fassa and Val di Fiemme together for a long weekend of flavours and tradition.
The programme includes aperitifs in the squares, zero-kilometre markets, workshops, teaching farms for children, high-altitude dinners and food walks. The heart of the festival is the Desmontegada, the return of the cows from the summer pastures, with the animals decorated with flowers and bells.
Entry is open and you wander between the squares; tastings, dinners and some activities have a cost. The detailed 2026 programme is usually released in August: check dates, times and prices on the official website.
