The editorial desk signs the work that comes from data rather than from one person's pen: the measurements collected by our engine, the weekly checks on the state of passes, huts and access rules, and the analysis that follows.
The method is always the same and stays in the open: every figure carries the date the source produced it, the date we checked it and the name of the source. When a figure expires we say so, instead of letting it pass for current. When a sensor is wrong we discard it and write that down.
